About the LOT Program
The Learning Outside Together program is jointly owned and administered by Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC) and BC Aboriginal Child Care Society (BCACCS). The non-profit agency Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC) is an equal partner in the project supporting project evaluation.
We are grateful for the funding that allows Learning Outside Together to be offered free of charge.
Three years of initial project development funding for LOT was granted from the Future Skills Centre and an anonymous donor.
Continued funding (2024-2027) has been provided through the government of British Columbia.
ECEBC represents the early childhood care and education profession throughout the province. They provide professional development opportunities, training, and resources for early childhood educators and support ECEs to inform the broader community about their work.
The BC Aboriginal Child Care Society is a Centre of Excellence for Indigenous early learning and child care (ELCC). They are committed to ensuring that every Indigenous child in BC has access to spiritually enriching, culturally based, high quality ELCC services.
The Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC) is a non-profit research organization created specifically to develop, field test, and rigorously evaluate new programs.
