Application processing
You’ll receive an email from LOT administration to let you know if you’ve been accepted and your proposed weekly meeting date/time. If you haven’t heard anything by the end of the month, check your junk/spam mail or contact us.
Accepted applicants will sign and return the participation policy form.
*Note: if you cannot make the meeting time, please let us know. We may be able to switch you into a different group.
Orientation
You will receive an email from your mentor, introducing her/himself along with a Zoom link. S/he will bring the group together to meet each other and ensure everyone is able to access the LOT course material (on the Early Learning HUB).
You will also receive a welcome package in the post with a waterproof journal and program materials.
Participation
The LOT course is 10 modules spread over a longer time period. Every 3-4th week there is a break. (We know people get sick, need holidays, and life happens!) This break week allows people to catch up on the course material. Group meetings those weeks are optional.
There is also a longer break planned over the winter holidays. Your mentor will share the detailed schedule with you at the orientation.
*Note: attending group meetings is an important part of the course. Your participation is tracked so we can include these hours on your professional development certificate.
Closing & Celebration
Your mentor will gather photos, quotes, stories, art, or any other submissions to be included in the celebration presentation. Hear and see from the other groups, celebrate the time together, and think about next steps on your journey!
